Why We Exist

Our Vision

The vision of Wade Wellness Services is to provide low-socioeconomic individuals access to forensic legal and mental health services for children, juveniles, and mentally disabled adults in need of permanency and legal advocacy.

WHAT WE DO

Wade Wellness Services provides equality and financial access to forensic legal and mental health services for children, juveniles, their families, and disabled adults in Navarro County, Texas. Wade Wellness Services is committed to serving all families in Navarro County that satisfy the eligibility structure of program guidelines. It is our policy and practice to not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, gender, disability, religion, creed, age, marital status, or sexual orientation in accepting new client families for services. Our services are based on limited socioeconomic status, safety and permanency of children's conservatorship, custodial and clinical needs fitting program criteria, and available funding and legal capacity of agency resources.

WHO WE ARE

Our Board of Directors include diverse professional expertise in business, law, accounting, court systems and non-profit organizations. Program Director Karol Wade Wright, MA, LPC has been in private practice in Navarro County for twenty plus years serving the mental health needs of children and families. Executive Director Pamela Crawford LCSW-S has provided Court services over the years when available and has performed clinical social work in the community for twenty plus years as a Regional Director for Presbyterian Children’s Homes & Services.

OUR STORY

Karol Wright and Pam Crawford have been invested in the safety and permanency of Navarro County Children for more than two decades. While serving in the community and court system, both professionals have encountered and observed families who were unable to meet the legal needs of the children in their care due to their socioeconomic status. Their passion for the “best interest of the child” led to an urgency to create a bridge for this gap in services.

Wade Wellness Services (WWS) received its 501(c)3 designation in February of 2023 and began to educate the community and plan for the future. In October 2023, WWS received three appointments from the Navarro County Court Judges.
