Our Story
Wade Wellness Services (WWS) is a nonprofit organization serving children, families, and vulnerable adults in Navarro County. Established in 2023, WWS was founded by Karol Wade Wright in response to a critical need for accessible legal advocacy and support for families facing financial barriers. Our mission is to help ensure that socioeconomic circumstances do not prevent children and families from accessing the services they need to achieve safety, stability, and permanency.
Under the leadership of Program Director Karol Wade Wright and Executive Director Blaire Hodge, WWS is committed to providing compassionate advocacy, connecting families with essential legal services, and strengthening our community through collaboration and support.
Karol brings decades of experience serving children and families through her work in the community and court system. Her dedication to advocating for vulnerable children and protecting their best interests inspired the creation of WWS. Through her leadership and extensive experience, she continues to guide the organization’s efforts to address gaps in services and help children achieve safe, stable, and permanent living arrangements. Blaire holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Human Services from Sam Houston State University and brings hands-on experience working with children and families. She is currently pursuing graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling as she works toward Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) licensure.
Together, our team is dedicated to advocating for vulnerable individuals and helping children and families build safer, more stable futures.
